The Yonan Hozaya Centre For research and Future Studies was invited to an event held by the Australian Assyrian Chaldean Syriac Advocacy Network along with Assyrian Cultural and social youth association celebrating refugee week which was titled “Finding Freedom: Stories of Resilience.” The event shed light on the journey of some refugees from our community whom shared their success stories in their new homes.
We are thankful for the invitation and to be able to witness such stirring stories of refugees who have been through so much but ended up flourishing and making an impact in the Australian multicultural society.
